A Little About Me

I live in Richmond, Virginia and I work for the Archery Trade Association as the ATA’s Digital Manager. My responsibilities include writing, producing video and managing the ATA’s social media accounts.

This site isn’t about my job though it’s about what I do for fun. After work and on the weekends I’m fishing, hunting or shooting one of my bows.

I’ve been a competitive archer for 13 years and I’ve competed with an Olympic recurve, compound, longbow and barebow.

My experience in fishing is mostly saltwater on Long Island Sound. However, since I moved from CT to VA I’m learning the freshwater game and make the occasional trip to the Chesapeake Bay to get my saltwater fix.

Bowhunting and cooking go hand in hand for me. I love cooking wild game and I love procuring wild game meat. I grew up in the restaurant industry and consider cooking apart of one of my hobbies. You’ll see a lot of venison, pheasant, small game and fish recipes on this blog.

I hate talking about myself so I’m going to keep this section short. The best way to get to know me is to read the blog and follow me on social media.
