Professional Experience

I graduated from James Madison University in 2013 with a degree in Writing and Rhetoric. I moved to Connecticut to help my family run their restaurant. Then got a job at the Archery Trade Association as a writer for Archery 360 and Bowhunting 360. After a year of writing, I was promoted to Digital Manager. My responsibilities included writing, producing video, and managing the ATA’s social media accounts. I held that position while I freelanced for Field and Stream and Outdoor Life on the side. A job opportunity became available at Outdoor Life to head up gear coverage for the title. I jumped at the opportunity and that’s what I’ve been doing for the last four years.
